Il fait 4 mm à sa partie la plus fine et 1,6cm à sa plus épaisse.
Fermeture magnétique de son écran 13,3" qui a un rétro-éclairage LED.
Trackpad "multi touch". Déplacement des fenêtres sans click et possibilité de faire tourner une photo ou de zoomer comme avec l'iPhone.
iSight intégrée et clavier rétro-éclairé.
Disque dur 1,8" de 80 Go en standard ou SSD 64 Go en option.
CPU Core 2 Duo 1,6 GHz à base de Penryn en standard et 1,8 GHz en option.
MagSafe 45W, un port USB, Micro DVI et audio out. (pas de Firewire)
Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. (uniquement... pas de prise ethernet)
Pas d'optique interne mais un Superdrive externe en option pour 99$.
2 Go de RAM en standard.
Autonomie de 5 heures.
Lancement au tarif de: 1799$ en version de base.
